The race will be divided into different age categories for specific distances. The organizers reserve the right to merge categories if there are too few participants in a particular category.

All participants will receive a finisher medal. Awards will also be given to the top 3 finishers in each category, along with special gifts for the 1st place finishers. The race will have a time limit for each distance.

The race will start at the race center located at Régivám köz 2, in the 17th district of Budapest. There are parking spaces available for those arriving by car, and for those using public transportation, the nearest bus stop is ‘526. Sor’ on bus line 168E.

The race course is a loop that participants will need to complete multiple times depending on their chosen distance. The course is a scenic trail through the forest, with minimal elevation changes.

An exhibition titled “Az Eltemetett Igazság” (The Buried Truth) will be held on the International Roma Holocaust Memorial Day at Mátyás tér in Budapest. The Uccu Roma Informal Education Foundation and the Józsefváros Community Nonprofit Corporation cordially invite you and your friends to the commemorative exhibition opening on the International Roma Holocaust Memorial Day, which will take place at Mátyás tér.

The exhibition will open on August 2nd, 2023, Wednesday at 3:30 PM and will be inaugurated by Judit Ignácz, the program director of the Uccu Foundation. András Pikó, the mayor of the VIII. district, will deliver a speech. The event will also feature a performance by Helena Varga (singer).

The exhibition will remain open for 6 days, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily. The team members of the Uccu Foundation will be present at the venue every day, ready to engage with visitors and provide a deeper understanding of the Porrajmos, the Roma Holocaust, and our shared responsibility in the fight against racism.

🌱 Vegan Musicians and Barbecue on the RAKPART

Join us for an evening of live music and vegan barbecue along the Danube River at the RAKPART! We have an exciting lineup of vegan musicians who will share their stories of why they became vegans.

The event will feature performances by Balla Gergő from Platon Karataev, Puskás Peti from The Biebers, and Simon Bálint from Ivan & The Parazol. The moderator for the evening will be Nyitray Dani from Törzs/Valyo.

You can find us at the Pesti alsó rakpart (Jane Haining rakpart), across from the castle, next to the Spoon boat, near the umbrellas and the public grills. Bring your own food to grill and washable utensils and plates to reduce waste.

The Hungarian Vegan Association (MAVEG) has kindly offered to provide delicious grilled vegetables and their volunteers will assist with preparing the food. Support their cause to spread their message to as many people as possible.

PingRUMLI

PingRUMLI is an upcoming event happening at Széll Kálmán tér 6 in Budapest. It will take place from August 2nd at 5:00 PM to August 6th at 11:00 PM UTC+02. The event is organized by PINGRUMBA.

During the first week of August, Pingruma will be transformed into PingRUMLI. There will be some renovations taking place in the kitchen, with some windows being boarded up. The staff will temporarily take over the closed inner garden, and the tiger room with its terrace will become the main base. Taking advantage of the temporary chaos, the opening hours and menu will be shuffled around, and paper plates will be brought out.

During PingRUMLI week, they won’t be concerned with inflation and will offer all dishes at a great price. Along with the crowd favorites, they will bring back some special dishes that are usually only prepared on special occasions. For example, the popular Tavaszi Széll favorite, the chicken shawarma, will be served in sandwich form; falafel will be made in the midst of the chaos, and Persian rice pudding will sweeten the days. Nothing will be as it usually is, but it might be even better.
