Dear Freshmen,
We are excited to invite you to the ELTE PPK Gólyatábor 2023 Kincses PSZIget! Get ready for an unforgettable adventure in the magical world of Kincses PSZIget, where extraordinary creatures like the gigantic Kraken, the melodious sirens, and the infamous Blackbeard reside.
During this camp, you will have the opportunity to test your courage, resourcefulness, and thirst for adventure, as you embark on a journey to become true pirates. The Gólyatábor will take place from August 26th to August 30th at a secret and mysterious location that will be revealed to you later.

Diákszervezeti és Szakkollégiumi Expo 2023
Join us at the Diákszervezeti és Szakkollégiumi Expo 2023, where you will have the opportunity to get to know the student organizations operating at the university. With over 36 stands, this event will be a great way for you to explore different student groups and find the one that suits you best.
The expo will take place at Fővám tér 8 in Budapest from August 28th to August 31st, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day.
If you’re not sure which organization you would like to join, come and visit the DSZ Expo Stand. Here, you can browse through the Student Organization Handbook and the members of the Student Council will be more than happy to assist you in making your decision.
Interested in multiple organizations or simply want to learn more about them? Be sure to check out the DSZ Stage, where various organizations will present themselves throughout the day. We will also have panel discussions for you to participate in.

Hey Apu fans!
Just a quick reminder that there’s an event coming up called “Apu azért iszik, mert te sírsz!” happening on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM UTC+02. The event will take place at Kazinczy utca 52/b in Budapest.
The organizer, Apu azért iszik, mert te sírsz, has prepared an interesting theme for the evening. They will be discussing topics such as “Prigozsin kiesett az ablakon” (Prigozsin fell out of the window), “Miért buknak a nők az apjukra, a férfiak az anyjukra?” (Why do women fall for their fathers and men fall for their mothers?), and “LMBTQ a 18ik században, amivel a francia forradalom végzett” (LGBTQ in the 18th century, which the French Revolution put an end to).

Budapest Bár’s leader and founder, Farkas Róbert, initially aimed to revive and rejuvenate the genre of coffee house Roma music, keeping the old traditions alive. Thanks to the band, long-forgotten melodies have made their way back into the collective consciousness, becoming part of both old and young generations’ cultural heritage. They have revitalized old songs, given new life to forgotten ones, and created many new songs.
