Join us for the “4 éve az Orczyn! - Minifesztivál a Gólyában” event at Gólya in Budapest. This three-day mini festival celebrates the four-year anniversary of Gólya Szövetkezet moving to Orczy út.
In the past, Gólya had a location in the Bókay utca in the 8th district, but after six amazing and enlightening years, they outgrew the space and had to find a new home. They dreamt big and searched for a property of their own. After a renovation process supported by a tremendous amount of volunteer work, they opened their doors in September 2019 at the Ganz-telep.
Taking over the space after a year and a half of hard work was incredibly liberating, and it continues to be a great feeling to use the space every day. Initially, only the concert hall was operational, but since then, they have also opened the upstairs guest area and the rooftop terrace for the community’s well-being. This new venue has become their home, where they were able to physically bring together different parts of their dreams and mission. They established the Kazán Közösségi Ház bérlői szövetségét (Tenant Alliance of Kazán Community House), allowing them to share the Orczy-n with numerous allied organizations.
During their time at Gólya Presszó, they have hosted countless concerts, parties, film clubs, performances, and a variety of events. They have also worked hard to maintain a good relationship with their neighbors. This journey has had many milestones, and the story is still continuing.
Come and join us as we celebrate the countless memories we have made in the past four years. The festival will include a mix of live music performances, including instrumental, electronic, and hip-hop acts that are close to our hearts and have proven themselves multiple times at Gólya.
The event will take place on September 7, with performances by Verőköltő, Újzenekar, titokzatostelepesek, Bujdosó János, and Főzelékkirály.
On September 8, Sneaky Times invites Ship Sket from the UK.
And on September 9, Betegszoba presents PestiS Records, Laboratórium Rekordz, and Krekkház.

Sorbonne Sexual Nyárzáró / vendég: lépjünk a holdra ~ Pontoon
Join us at the Sorbonne Sexual summer closing concert, featuring guest band “Lépjünk a Holdra” (Let’s Step on the Moon) at Pontoon in Budapest. This will be our only summer concert in Budapest, so let’s say goodbye to summer together!
Last year’s event was so amazing that we decided to bring Pontoon back and meet again on the Danube. The evening will have two important highlights: our friend Andris Makay will be remixing our first album, “Fáma,” which will be released before the concert, and we will also be showcasing some of our upcoming SRBNN songs. It’s going to be an exciting night, and we can’t wait to see all of you there!

Resident Art Fair 2023 │ Nyári kortárs képzőművészeti vásár +
Resident Art Fair 2023 is a contemporary art fair and exhibition that will be held from September 6th to September 9th at Horánszky utca 5 in Budapest. The event is organized by Resident Art and will feature the works of 70 invited artists, showcasing over 180 artworks.
The fair aims to provide a platform for both emerging and established artists to reflect on current artistic, visual, and social questions. The selection of artworks will encompass a diverse range of artistic styles, including grotesque, abstract, figurative, nonfigurative, minimalist, naive, photographic, geometrical, and innovative. The emphasis will be on discovering new perspectives and maintaining a commitment to quality, appreciating both innovative approaches and the continuation of traditional techniques.
The participating artists are all professionals who actively contribute to and shape the Hungarian contemporary art scene. Alongside emerging and young artists, the fair also includes renowned artists who have achieved success in the art world, as well as those who are getting their first opportunity to showcase their work in the art market.
Resident Art Fair 2023 aims to engage not only those already involved in the contemporary art scene but also individuals who are curious about the latest trends and want guidance and points of reference in navigating the vast visual landscape. Over the past five years, Resident Art has organized 12 fairs, providing a platform for hundreds of artists to showcase their work and attracting thousands of art enthusiasts. Many art buyers made their first art purchases at Resident Art fairs, becoming avid supporters of contemporary art, while numerous artists sold their first artwork at the fair and went on to join the world of contemporary galleries.

Két karod csöndje - Összművészeti rendezvény a Vízivárosi Klub előtti téren

This year, BOB is taking you into his secret Dance Lab where he creates passion, smiles, dance experiences, friendship, and love. In this lab, the basic elements are like oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen - they are essential. Basic steps, styling, partnerwork, and social dancing are the key ingredients that make this festival a success.
At the BOB Lab, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from renowned salsa professionals. Our esteemed BOB Lab Professors include Dotty Újszászi from Hungary, Marco Ferrigno & Federia from Italy, Anichi Perez from Germany, Tamba from the UK, Dora & Nabil from Hungary, Olesia & Mark-Anthony from Ukraine and Canada, SALSA CORE from Hungary, Langer Pálma/SALSA CORE from Hungary, Flying Panther from Hungary, and Vasa Zoltán from Hungary. These experts will guide you through workshops and help you improve your dancing skills.
The BOB Lab Scientist will be none other than DJ Dmitri from the UAE and Germany, DJ Sergio from France, DJ The Patrick from Austria, DJ Mark-Anthony from Canada, DJ Evita from Hungary, DJ Greg from Hungary. We will also have a special guest DJ adding to the excitement.
