Dennis Kelly: Árvák is a captivating play presented by LOUPE Színházi Társulás. The story revolves around Danny and Helen, who are preparing for a festive dinner. However, their plans take a dark turn when Helen’s brother, Liam, enters the scene covered in blood. Through Dennis Kelly’s gripping crime story, the play explores themes of prejudice, incitement of hatred, the fragmentation of social classes, the fear and uncertainty that permeate society, and how these factors profoundly shape our everyday lives. While the characters in the play may not find resolution, the audience is left to ponder the intricacies of the human experience.
The play features a talented cast, including Lovas Rozi, Lengyel Tamás, and Molnár Áron. The translation of the play is done by Horváth János Antal, and the dramaturgy is handled by Tóth Réka Ágnes. The visual elements are created by Szabó Márton, while the costumes are designed by Kisprumik Ádám. Gáspár Anna assumes the role of production manager, with Fazekas Anna serving as assistant director. The play is directed by Horváth János Antal.
