Nature’s Wonders Exhibition and Fair
Get ready for one of the most anticipated events of the year, the Nature’s Wonders Exhibition and Fair! Although summer is slowly coming to an end, we couldn’t be more excited because this amazing event is just around the corner.
This year, the exhibition will take place from October 12th to October 14th, running from Thursday to Saturday. While we have one day less compared to previous editions, we have compensated for it by extending the opening hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
As our loyal visitors may already know, we will once again showcase a wide range of exotic reptiles, spiders, domestic and hobby animals, as well as extraordinary plants and minerals. Moreover, we will be focusing on teaching responsible pet ownership and providing an opportunity for visitors to donate to various causes through the exhibitors’ stands.
Every year, we strive to bring new and exciting attractions to our program, and this year is no exception. We have some surprises in store, but for now, let’s keep them as our little secrets.

Moszkva tér | English subtitles
Join us for a special screening of the Hungarian film “Moszkva tér” with English subtitles at Bem Mozi on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in Budapest.
“Moszkva tér” is a colorful Hungarian film directed by Ferenc Török in 2001. The movie takes place in the spring of 1989, during a time of significant changes in Hungary. The country is on the brink of transformation, and everything feels chaotic and uncertain. The story follows Petya, a high school student about to graduate, as he celebrates his 18th birthday with his friends. They meet at Moszkva tér, a popular meeting point in Budapest, to find the addresses for the parties happening that night. Their night takes them from one party to another, navigating the changing landscape of the city and the country.
Please note that the film is in Hungarian with English subtitles and is not recommended for viewers under the age of 16.
The screening will take place on October 12, Thursday, at 6:00 PM. Tickets are priced at 1,800 Ft and can be purchased at the venue between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM daily. Please note that seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors will open approximately 5 minutes before the screening.

The Bartók-negyed is organizing an exciting event called “Örmény jazz in Kelet” as part of the Újbudai Ethnic Festival. The event will feature the talented David Yengibarian, who will treat us to a fusion of Armenian traditions, Balkan rhythms, Argentine tango, and European/American jazz and world music.
David Yengibarian, a harmonica virtuoso who studied in Armenia, will impress the audience with his rendition of J.S. Bach’s preludes and Goldberg variations. These classical masterpieces will take on a unique flavor when played on the harmonica, an instrument that few have witnessed performing such works before. It will be a remarkable feat to create these sounds on the accordion.
“Örmény jazz in Kelet” promises to be a captivating musical journey that blends various cultural influences. It will be an enchanting evening filled with music and a celebration of diversity.
About the Újbudai Ethnic Festival: From October 9th to 15th, we will celebrate our diversity, origins, and the multitude of cultures we embrace both individually and collectively. The festival will provide a platform for Bulgarians, Roma, Greeks, Croats, Armenians, Poles, Germans, Romanians, Ruthenians, Serbs, Slovaks, Slovenes, and Ukrainians from the district to showcase their unique cultures.
