Let’s celebrate Flow’s first birthday with an informal boulder jam! Whether you’re a beginner climber or a seasoned pro, you’re invited to join us on October 14th for a fun-filled day of conquering boulders. Afterward, we’ll continue the celebration with a birthday party that will go on until the early hours of October 15th.
The event will feature a boulder jam competition, where participants will write and evaluate their own climbs based on the rules set by the Hungarian Climbing Federation (MHSSZ). The final results will be determined by the number of tops, zones, attempts, and flash climbs. There will be two categories: Professional (male/female) and Amateur (male/female).
For those participating in the amateur category, please note that this is for climbers who have not climbed a 7A/7a difficulty boulder or sport climbing route in the past 2 years. In the gym, this means being able to climb green routes but struggling with red routes. If you have previously placed on the podium in an amateur competition, we kindly ask you to compete in the professional category to give others a chance.
There will be 30-35 boulder problems available to climbers, depending on their category. Participants will have 1 hour and 55 minutes to complete the climbs. We will divide climbers into groups of 30, with a 5-minute technical break between groups. The rest of the climbing gym will be open for use with a competition pass, except for the comp wall. Non-competitors can enjoy uninterrupted climbing in other areas.
To register for the competition, there is a uniform entry fee of 4000 Ft, which includes participation in the event and a starter pack. You can sign up using the following link: [registration link]. By registering, you agree to abide by the gym’s rules, assume responsibility for your own safety, and comply with our privacy policy and competition regulations. The registration fee can be paid in advance at the reception desk, either by card or in cash. Please settle the fee no later than October 10th, as unpaid spots will be given to those on the waiting list starting from October 11th.
If the weather permits, we will also have a barbecue on the terrace for everyone to enjoy.

Introducing GOBUDA Őszünnep: A Celebration of Autumn at GOBUDA Mall

All you have to do is make a purchase of 5,000 Ft or more at any store in GOBUDA Mall, keep the receipt, and spin the wheel before 16:00 for a chance to win prizes such as movie tickets, fitness center passes, and beauty products.
The Traveling Planetarium will also be available from 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, offering more opportunities to explore the wonders of the universe. Additionally, there will be a craft workshop for children from 10:00 to 16:00 on the first floor, where they can unleash their creativity and make beautiful autumn-themed crafts. Isolation Budapest 2023
Isolation Budapest 2023 is back for its second edition, organized by Akvárium Klub Official. This exciting event will take place on October 14th, although the specific time and location have not been announced yet. The festival boasts an impressive lineup, featuring a diverse range of artists from various genres.
The headliner of the festival is the American virtuoso, Nick Hakim. Known for his collaborations with Anderson .Paak and remixes by BADBADNOTGOOD, Hakim’s album ‘Green Twins’ is considered one of the foundational records in the scene. Another highlight of the festival will be the performance of Wu-Lu, a rising star in the punk-rap scene. Wu-Lu’s latest album, ‘Loggerhead,’ released under the renowned Warp label in 2022, caught the attention of Damon Albarn, leading to Wu-Lu touring as a guest band for Blur.
Bringing their bone-penetrating, strobe-lit club anthems to Budapest will be Coucou Chloe, a French-born producer and singer known for her collaborations with Shy Girl and Sega Bodega. With her mysterious and futuristic sound, Coucou Chloe has even attracted the attention of Rihanna, who featured her song “Doom” in the Fenty x Puma show at New York Fashion Week.
Other artists to look forward to include Cosmo Pyke, who fuses jazz and two-tone elements, Pedro Alves Sousa with his innovative saxophone project Má Estrela, and the Norwegian band Pom Poko, known for their unique blend of pop, math rock, post-punk, and West African influences. The festival will also feature performances by Panchiko, Danz CM (formerly known as Computer Magic), Iguana Death Cult, Chubby and the Gang, and Efterklang’s lead singer Casper Clausen, who will return to the festival as the lead in the theatrical production “The Wild Stage”.
In addition to the international lineup, the festival will showcase exceptional Hungarian artists. The atmospheric and meditative repetitive music of konkoi will be complemented by the lyrical interpretations of Balla Gergely, known from the band Platon Karataev. The Chet Baker Special by The Night Of The Vampire will pay tribute to Chet Baker’s jazz ballads, while the Wavy collective will celebrate subcultures and authentic music. And don’t forget to catch the noisy and unstoppable darazsfaj, Darage!
The concerts will be part of the Liszt Ünnep program, organized in partnership with the Akvárium Klub and Müpa.

Besh o droM, vendég: Hakumba / Turbina
Join us for an electrifying double concert featuring Besh o droM and special guest Hakumba at the Turbina Cultural Center on October 14th! Besh o droM is a prominent representative of world music in Hungary, known for their insanely energetic and heart-pounding Balkan sounds that create an unavoidable state of ecstasy among the audience. The band started in 1999 and combines Balkan, Romanian Gypsy, and Near Eastern traditional music with Hungarian influences, creating a unique fusion of styles.
Thanks to their sensational live performances, Besh o droM has become one of the most exportable acts in the Hungarian music scene. They perform 70-80 times in Hungary and about 50-60 times abroad each year, often in front of packed audiences. They have had the honor of being the first Hungarian act to perform at numerous events, sharing the stage with world-renowned artists such as Oscar Peterson, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Keith Jarrett, and Marcus Miller. Their biggest success came at the Montreal Jazz Festival, where they performed on the main stage in front of 35,000 people four times.
Joining Besh o droM on stage will be Hakumba, an 11-member band that made their debut at the Ördögkatlan Festival in the summer of 2019. Their music is mainly rooted in world music, blending it with Balkan brass themes and multi-part vocals. Their compositions are strongly influenced by gypsy swing, ska, Afrobeat, and surf-rock elements, creating an authentic and joyful atmosphere that will get the audience dancing.

BETELT! Tracing Feminism in the Capital - Urban Walk with Közélet Iskolája
Join us for a fascinating urban walk in Budapest as we trace the footsteps of feminism in the early 20th century. The Hungarian feminist movement had a significant impact on the social and associative life of the time. In 1904, Glücklich Vilma and Schwimmer Rózsa, who emerged from the activities of previous women’s associations, founded the Feminist Association in Budapest. The association established a network of branches in the countryside, published a journal, and had a nationwide influence on contemporary public life.
The feminist movement in Budapest organized several mass protests and submitted petitions to members of parliament advocating for universal suffrage. In addition to their offices (which also housed the editorial office of their journal) and library, they opened a Career Guidance Center and participated in various significant social work initiatives. During World War I, they supported widowed women and children, provided employment in vacant school buildings, and organized daycare services for them.
During this urban walk, we will retrace the diverse activities and ideology of the feminists. We will visit the locations of the association’s founding meeting, public meetings, and other events. We will also explore the venue of a major international suffragette congress, the 1913 International Woman Suffrage Alliance, which took place in Budapest.

Összművészeti Nyüzsi
Dear all,
We would like to invite you to the first joint event of Chily Team and Zsenge Műhely called Összművészeti Nyüzsi. It will be a full day of art and music, a chance to let loose and have fun.
Both teams believe in creating a community where people can connect through creativity and music, so we wanted to create an event where all of this can happen. In short, there will be art workshops, a concert, and a DJ set to unwind.
During the workshops, the Chily Team and their friends will provide the creative atmosphere. The workshop lineup includes a Conscious Walk and Plant Gathering in the nearby flood plain forest and along the Danube with eco-printing and embroidery with Anna. There will also be a Mosaic Coaster and Ceramic Object Making workshop with the girls from Zsenge Műhely, Esti and Juli. And Zsófi will be leading a workshop on Linocut Printing.
The music lineup for the day includes performances by Lunar Sequence, Quantumgate, Flying Elephant, Levendulä & F. Nagy, Phloberon, Czellux, and more. There will also be a fire show in the evening featuring Emília Várfalvi and Tímea Székely from Aserdus Firedance, Eszter Ónodi from Mandala of Fire, Viktor Silberman from Elemental Instruments, Zsuzsa Bakonyi, and Karola Köbli.
The food for the event will be provided by Ánanda, who will serve delicious dishes such as pumpkin cream soup, vegetarian baguette with pesto, mozzarella, and sun-dried tomatoes, and Parma ham baguette with herb butter, Parma ham, and camembert. They will also have comforting herbal teas, tasty oat cookies, and homemade syrups.
If you would like to participate in the workshops, you can sign up individually for each workshop using the link provided. The recommended donation for each workshop is 3000 Ft, payable on-site. If you have the whole day free and want to explore everything, we recommend the COMBO ticket, which includes participation in all workshops, a welcome drink, and a full day of great music.
