12th Noches de Hungría Tango Marathon
The 12th Noches de Hungría Tango Marathon is an exciting event happening in Budapest. Once again, dancers can enjoy a delicious dinner from 8:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The night is not over yet as DJ Francesco will keep the energy going from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
On Sunday, the marathon resumes from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with DJ Balázs providing the music. After a relaxing break for brunch from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, there will be an afterparty starting at 9:00 PM and going on until 4:00 AM with DJ Melih.

IV. EMT Pair Crash
Get ready for the IV. EMT Pair Crash happening on October 21st and 22nd in Budapest! Hosted by the European Masters Throwdown, this exciting event will determine which pair will be crowned the winner of the EMT 2023 Pair Crash.
What sets this event apart is the opportunity to compete in three different doubles versions: 2 women, 2 men, or mixed doubles. Regardless of your age, you can join either the division for competitors under 45 years or the division for competitors over 45 years. However, if you’re turning 30 this year, you should definitely consider entering the competition.
The event will span across two days, with each pair competing on both days. There are no qualifications required to participate, so you can register directly for the competition. Keep in mind that only a maximum of 12 pairs can start in each category.
On the first day, everyone will tackle the same workouts, without any separation between RX and Scaled categories. However, on Sunday, the first 6 pairs in each category will advance to the RX category, while the remaining pairs will continue in the Scaled category.
Registration for the IV. EMT Pair Crash opens on June 9th, so mark your calendars and don’t miss your chance to secure your spot. There’s an Early Bird registration available until June 30th, which costs 120 euros for each category. After that, the normal registration fee of 140 euros applies, with registration closing on August 31st.

Budapest Open 2023
The Budapest Open 2023 is an exciting event organized by the Budapest Debate Union. Taking place on October 21st to 22nd, participants will have the opportunity to combine the thrill of debating with the charm of Budapest.
The event will kick off with a Budapest Tour on October 20th, starting from Wombat’s City Hostel. This will be followed by a social gathering in the evening, allowing participants to connect and network with like-minded individuals.
On October 21st, the actual debate rounds will begin. The day will start with registration and a briefing, followed by the first round of debates. A delicious lunch will be provided, giving participants the chance to recharge and socialize. The rounds will continue throughout the day, with dinner provided in the evening. The day will conclude with a social event, ensuring that participants have the opportunity to unwind and have fun.
The final day, October 22nd, will feature the remaining debate rounds, including the semi-finals, novice finals, and the grand final. The event will culminate with a closing ceremony, celebrating the participants’ hard work and achievements.
To participate in the Budapest Open 2023, registration is required. The registration fee for speakers is 45€, while adjudicators can register for 35€. Accommodation is available at a rate of 22.5€ per night.

Idan Abolnik Multiple Attacker Seminar Budapest!

If you’re interested in learning from someone with real-life experience in surviving wars and protecting high-ranking individuals, then you don’t want to miss the Idan Abolnik Multiple Attacker Seminar in Budapest!
Idan Abolnik is the creator of the Kalah System and has served in one of Israel’s most respected military units, the Golani Brigade. This unit is constantly on the front lines, involved in combat operations. Idan has participated in numerous high-risk missions in Lebanon, the West Bank, and Cisjordania, including terrorist arrests and tactical maneuvers in hostile territories.
After his time with Golani, Idan continued his career with Israeli security forces, where he was responsible for personal protection, transportation between Arab and Jewish cities, and securing maritime shipments. In 2003, he moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he founded Golani Security and developed the Kalah System based on his own experiences.
In South Africa, Idan trained rural farmers to defend themselves against daily brutal robberies and murders, earning recognition for the Kalah System due to the incredible attacks his students survived.
Now, Idan will be visiting Budapest at the end of October to conduct a 2-day seminar focused on multiple attack situations. The topics covered will include attackers starting with bare hands and progressing to knives, guns, machetes/sticks, or a combination of these. Ground combat situations and scenarios involving knives, guns, and sticks will also be covered.
It’s important to note that the seminars are intense, both physically and mentally. Idan is not coming to win our hearts, but to ruthlessly make the most of the time he spends with us and share his knowledge.
One of Idan’s students, Chris Herbs, survived a multiple attack situation where he was attacked in his home by two people in the middle of the night. Chris was able to survive thanks to divine intervention and his preparedness, but he lost 2 liters of blood in the process. This case highlights the importance of being prepared for such situations.
If you feel up to the challenge, you can sign up for the seminar by emailing tibor.kincses@mrsd.hu. We kindly ask all applicants to pay the seminar fee as soon as possible, but no later than October 6th, as space is limited.
The seminar will take place on October 21-22, 2023, starting at 10:00 AM. The duration of the seminar is usually between 4-6 hours, so be prepared for that. The fee for the 2-day seminar is 120 Euros.
