This special event will feature never-before-seen sets, live visuals, an album release, and the dark and cold electronica queen herself, Rosa Anschütz, who will be returning to Budapest after her unforgettable performance at 2022’s Kolorádó festival.

Autumn Swing Challenge 2023 - WSDC Event
The Autumn Swing Challenge is back in 2023, bringing the excitement of West Coast Swing dancing to Budapest. This year’s event will feature some incredible professionals, including Olivier Massart & Virginie Massart, Semion Ovsiannikov & Maria Elizarova, Browly Adjavon & Inga Kurciša, and Byron Brunerie & Melodie Paletta. The event will be hosted by the charismatic MC, Piotr “Badman” Lenart.
The Autumn Swing Challenge promises to be a weekend filled with leveled workshops, specialized classes, competitions for fun and WSDC points, and, of course, plenty of social dancing and parties. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, there will be something for everyone.
The event will take place from November 10th to November 12th, 2023, with a pre-party on Thursday, November 9th. The venue for the Autumn Swing Challenge will be The Aquincum Hotel Budapest. Situated in the heart of Budapest, this luxurious hotel offers not only beautiful accommodations but also a spa for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Registration for the event will start on July 3rd, 2023, at 6:00 PM CEST (Budapest time). There are two types of passes available: Party Passes and Workshop Passes. With a Party Pass, you can attend the parties and competitions, while the Workshop Pass allows you to participate in leveled workshops. There will be seven workshops per level, ensuring an enriching experience for all attendees.
The prices for the passes are as follows:
- Quick bird: 95 EUR (Party Pass) / 140 EUR (Workshop Pass)
- Normal bird: 105 EUR (Party Pass) / 150 EUR (Workshop Pass)

But 11/10 KINDERGARTEN // FABRIKA is more than just a night of good music. It also aims to support local artists and promote diversity in music. However, it firmly condemns racism, homophobia, transphobia, and any form of hatred. The club reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who does not align with these values.

Are young artists still willing to give up part of their spotlight in favor of a collective? In today’s hyper-individualistic society driven by social media, this question holds significant importance. The Első Szalon, in collaboration with the INDA Gallery, is organizing an exhibition-based talk titled “»ARTISTS UNITE!(?)« - Why and how to start an Art Collective” to delve into this topic.
Taking place at the INDA Gallery, located at Király u. 34 II/4, 1061 Budapest, the event will feature a discussion between the deff collective - founded in 2023 by Sveta Maximova and Cora Sun - and Zsolt Kozma, the curator of the INDA Gallery. The talk will be moderated by Emese Kató and J. Adisdidene.
The aim of this talk is to explore the concept of the artist collective and its relevance in today’s art world. Historically, artist collectives have served as intentional contradictions to the establishment of the individualistic and predominantly white and male artistic genius that the art market has long favored. However, in the face of social media-driven hyper-individualism, it begs the question of whether young artists are still willing to embrace collectivism.
Furthermore, the event draws inspiration from the ongoing exhibition at the INDA Gallery titled “GLIMPSES OF THE 1990S,” which showcases works by Lajos Csontó, Róza El-Hassan, and András Ravasz. The 90s is considered by many as a decade where collective experiences and creations in art and culture thrived, representing perhaps the last moment in history where this was truly possible.
