If you fancy yourself a cocktail connoisseur or just love mixing up some delicious drinks, mark your calendars for Monday, March 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM CET. The Planteray Games, hosted by WhiskyNet, are making their debut in Hungary and promise a thrilling event for all rum enthusiasts.
The competition is all about crafting the perfect cocktail using your favorite Plantation rum. To participate, whip up a funky concoction using a minimum of 40 ml of one of the designated rums – Planteray 3 stars, Planteray Original Dark, Planteray O.F.T.D., Planteray Pineapple, or Planteray Sealander. Get your creative juices flowing, mix up your drink, snap a picture, and submit your recipe along with a catchy name for your creation.
The deadline for applications is the 15th of March at midnight. The top 10 recipes will earn a coveted spot in the Planteray Games and a chance to represent Hungary in the regional finals in Poland. On the day of the event at the GoodSpirit Bar in Budapest, contestants will have 8 minutes to showcase their skills by presenting four cocktails to the judges in English.
Even if you’re not competing, you can still join the fun and support your favorite bartenders by registering as a spectator. It’s a fantastic opportunity to witness the creativity and talent of mixologists in action.
