Join us for a captivating evening at Trafó Stúdió on 30 September, 2024, at 8:00pm as Adam Seid Tahir (they/them) presents early fragments from their ongoing research on fictive archaeology. As part of their new work, “artifact” (working title), Adam delves into the creation of fictive artifacts from a queer Afro-Nordic folklore.

Adam’s exploration of the concept of the time capsule as a method for storytelling and political reflection adds a unique dimension to their work. Through archiving experiences and wishes, Adam prompts us to consider what we choose to leave behind for future generations and the implications of those choices.

This event is made possible by the support of The Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Helge Ax:son Johnsons stiftelse, and Creative Crossroads. Additionally, the production “artifact” is a collaborative effort with MDT, Sophiensæle, Centrale Fies, TOU Scene, Dansens Hus, and is supported by The Swedish Arts Council.
