Move fast: Singapore, the FinTech Nation” This event aims to delve into the remarkable transformation of Singapore into a global powerhouse in financial technology innovation and the FinTech sector.
In March 2024, students from the MCC Centre for Next Technological Futures (CNTF) embarked on a study trip to Singapore to uncover the secrets behind the nation’s success as the fourth most innovative economy in the world and the seventh top startup ecosystem, boasting nearly thirty unicorns. Now, the upcoming innovation debate will gather high-ranked policymakers, top FinTech entrepreneurs, and distinguished professors from Singapore to discuss the evolution and challenges faced by Singapore’s FinTech industry.
The panelists for the event include key figures such as Sopnendu Mohanty, Chief Fintech Officer of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Varun Mittal, author of the book “Singapore: The FinTech Nation,” and David Toh, Chief Executive Officer of NTUitive. The discussion will be moderated by Csenge Vörös and Domonkos Sohár, students of CNTF.
